October 5, 2024, was World Card Making Day. There were so many crafty people showing what they can do, all over the internet. I also stuck my foot in the water and has so much fun doing it. I will put links at the bottom so that you can grab the stuff if you would like. They are NOT affiliate links, just some of my favorite products. I played around with my Tim Holtz Ranger Ink Distress Sprays. I made a beautiful background. I turned this background into a cut out of a dragon fly. I then placed this on a card front that I used Hero Arts Glitter Paste and a Scrapbook.com (I think) stencil of snowflakes. I think it turned out magical but I still have to finish it on my next live.

Another thing that a lot of card makers do not think about doing is sympathy cards. I did one with a generic embossing folder of cat tails and dragon flies. I used Tim Holtz Ranger Ink Distress Oxide Uncharted Mariner. I added a generic dragon fly and words stamp to create interest. I did use another generic stamp with random words for the top corner because I felt it was missing something. I also threw on some Michael’s Dylusions Shimmer Spray Set 2 spatters. I did use three turquoise sequins to put in the middle of the flowers of the embossing. I then used the Spellbinders Glimmer Foil System. I foiled our sentiment “Sending Prayers” with the Altenew – Hot Foil Plate – Versatile Greetings and the matching dies. I placed them on an angle in the bottom right corner and I think it turned out pretty good.

For one of my upcoming lives, I have such beautiful Christmas card fronts. I would like to make a picture hanging collage. I will also do some personalized keychains at some point. They make wonderful Christmas gifts. I will make some jewelry. I would love to hear from you, what you would like to see done on my lives or videos.
